No significant changes occurred in any of the measured variables among the SF group. During BT, the recruits’ nutritional intake (both groups) did not meet the NSOR recommendations for total energy and most nutrients, including carbohydrates, total fat, folate, vitamin D, calcium, zinc, and magnesium.
